The Chimpanzee Habituation Experience lasts a half-day, from the crack of dawn until the late afternoon. However, there is much to see as you observe the Chimpanzees, other primates, birds, and mammals found in Kibale Forest.
Our Recommendation presently: The Chimpanzee Habituation Experience is no longer the quality experience it once was. Sighting of the chimpanzee group being habituated has become unsure. Hopefully, this will soon change and become the experience that it once was. Instead, we recommend that you track the chimpanzees twice in one day instead. On the chimpanzee trek, you will definitely see the chimpanzees.
