Robusta is grown all over central Uganda and parts of Rwanda– growers from those regions have been looking at ways to expand their markets, some selling finished products abroad and looking at ways of expanding the domestic market with quality roasted coffee. Robusta is used in instant, Coke and Pepsi and other products that have robusta as an ingredient. Uganda is the largest exporter of beans in Africa.
