The combined Gorilla and Kidepo Valley Park can be a fly-In Safari from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and back to Entebbe. From there continue to Kidepo Valley Park via Aerolink regional airline specializing in Safari Flights. The fly in Safari can include the Tree-Climbing Lions of Ishasha, Queen Elizabeth Park and Kibale Forest Chimpanzee trekking. The total length of a Fly in Safari would be seven to ten days.
The other less costly option is to do the Safari beginning in Kigali, Rwanda and ending in Entebbe, Uganda, for your flight out. Such a safari would be twelve days long. This would be a Big-7 Safari and include Bwindi Forest, Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibale Forest, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Kidepo Valley Park and Murchison Falls Park.

You combined Safari will include Gorilla Trekking or Permits are available you choose the Gorilla Habituation Experience where you are for four hours with a Gorilla Family, and there are only four participants instead of the standard eight on a regular Gorilla Trek where you are for one hour with a Gorilla Family
Permits for the Gorilla Habituation Experience are 1,500 USD instead of 600 USD. On the Habituation Experience, you are a participant in the Habituation Process of the Gorillas.

See the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through the eyes of the first people of the Forest, the Batwa. For thousands of years, they lived in harmony with nature and the Gentle Giants. In the 1990s they were evicted from parklands and become conservation refugees.
A visit into the forest with the Batwa is an eye-opening time of discovery. You find out and learn how they lived, hunted, and gathered only what they needed.
We have much to learn from them as we see the forest through their eyes. Learn of medicinal plants used for various ailment. Sources of Food, how weapons were made, and how they regarded the Mountain Gorillas, other primates and the wildlife and birds found in the forest.
Discover the world of the Ik People on Mount Morungole:
The Ik People live on Mount Morungole. They consider themselves indigenous and peace-loving people.
Years ago they left the Savannah of Kidepo Vally Park and established safe villages away from cattle-raiders.
There is only one way to visit them and that on foot. It is an eight-hour all-day trek.
You will have a rewarding and enriching time visiting thee Ik Tribe ling a life as few others do without a mobile phone connection or the internet, where marriages take place paying a bride’s price not in cows but Beehives.

Queen Elizabeth National Park:

In this park, you can participate in a Lion Tracking Research with Uganda Carnivore Project. Or be part of a Banded Mongoose Research Program. Take the scenic Explosion Crater drive and discover the underground forest in the Kyambura Gorge along with chimpanzee tracking.

Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Trekking:
Kibale Forest is the best place in all of East Africa for Chimpanzee Trekking. There are over 1,500 chimpanzees found here, plus 12 other species of primates. It is a must visit the park for primate enthusiasts. The success rate for sighting chimpanzees is nearly 100%.
Besides normal Gorilla Trekking, you can participate in the all-day Chimpanzee habituation experience that takes place from early morning until late afternoon.
You can also partake in the Nocturnal Forest where you encounter the Creatures of the night. At times you might even spot a tree climbing pangolin.
Kibale Forest is a must visit Destination for primate lovers, but you will also see its butterflies and birds, mammals while here.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary:
It is here where you track the endangered Rhino on foot guided by Rangers. You get within 7 meters of them and have the opportunity for some great photographs.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is not only a place to see Rhinos, but it is one of the best spots in Uganda to see the much sought after Shoebill Stork. Shoebill Storks are located in the Lugogo Swamps area of the sanctuary and you are taken by boat during the early morning hours into the swamp area. Rhinos and Shoebill Storks in one great location in Uganda.
Murchison Falls National Park:
The River Nile runs through Murchison Falls National Park. The most powerful waterfall in the world is found in Murchison Falls National. The most significant number of Nubian Giraffes, also called Rothschild Giraffe, is located in the park it is the largest wildlife reserve in Uganda and favorite with many visitors to Uganda.
The boat safari up the River Nile to the falls is a highlight of one’s time in Murchison Falls Park. The park also breaks the journey from or to Kidepo Valley Park.
The feature of the park is that it is only Wildlife Park where the River Nile flows through it and that the most powerful waterfalls in the world are found here.
