A Game drive is about 3-hours in length, and you are in the company of your driver and a Uganda Wildlife Ranger. Between the two of them, there is not much that you will miss when it comes to wildlife and birds.
After the Game Drive, enjoy a Sunset traditional sundowner cruise on the Nile with drinks and snacks. In Uganda, the drink of choice is Uganda Waragi, best with a Krest Bitter Lemon, Wine, Beer, and other options are available.
The Safari Sundowner Tradition goes back to the Colonial Days when it was common to have a Gin and Tonic. The tonic water was containing a heavy dose of quinine, which was used to prevent Malaria. Today the tradition hangs on, but we use Malarone as a Malaria Regiment instead of Quinine.
