Our Suggestion about the Rwenzori Mountains Bwamba Pass Mini-Hike:
It is an 8-hour Hike and gives you a taste of the Rwenzori Mountain of the Moon. It is not an easy hike; you must be physically fit to go on it. We do not offer it as a Stand-Alone activity but as a perfect add-on to your Safari in Uganda.
This is a perfect add-on to a Safari that takes in Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth Park. It can add one or two-day to your Safari where you can stay either in Bundibugyo at the Vanilla Hotel or in the Semiliki Valley at the exclusive Semliki Safari Lodge, where you can take in both the Semliki-Toro Wildlife Reserve and the Semiliki National Park. The Park and the Wildlife Reserve are off-the-beaten-tourist paths but are excellent if you want to hike in the thick forest, a DR Congo Ituri Forest spillover.
That one day gives you a taste of the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon, and it is like no other since it has been and still is used by locals living in the mountains.
It is off the tourist path, and it is doubtful that you will encounter any tourists on this Trail while you are on it.
