The Clocal Bakonzo community owns and operates the camp, offering visitors an authentic cultural experience while promoting sustainable tourism practices.
The Camp offers comfortable accommodation in traditional Bandas made from local material. The bands are designed to blend in with the natural surroundings and provide stunning views of the mountains. All bars come with an en-suite bath.
The Camp also has a communal restaurant where guests can enjoy traditional Ugandan cuisine and international dishes. There is also a craft shop where guests can buy souvenirs made by local women.

- Guided village Walk: Visitors can tour the nearby Ruboni village, learning about the local Bakonzo culture and traditions. The tour includes visiting a traditional homestead, where visitors can see how the locals live and participate in cultural activities such as dance performances, craft making, and cooking lessons.
- Hill Climb Walk: Half-Day to Full-Day Hikes with Mountain Views of Margherita Peak, Africa’s third-highest mountain. This can be an overnight hike.
- Forest Walk: Walk in the forest bordering the UNESCO World Heritage National Park; you might even learn to fish with your hands.
- Bird Watching: Look for Rwenzori Turacos, tiny, iridescent Sunbirds, and colorful Bee-eaters; you will also see monkeys and three-horned Chameleons.
- Dance and Drumming Lessons: Shown to you by the local youth group, and you can join in to show your style
- 3-Day Mahoma Trail: Staff and Porters from the Community will take you into the Rwenzori Mountains on this three day-hike.
