The Insiders Guide to Booking your Gorilla Habituation Experience in 2019 Permit

The Gorilla Habituation Experience Permit- Just 4 Permits per Day- 4-Hours with a Gorilla Family

There are many that Choose the Gorilla Habituation Experience Permit but few that actually get them and with a limited number of participants – 4- spend 4- hours with a Gorilla Family in the Rushaga Area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  There are 152 normal Gorilla Trekking Permits each day, but only 4 for the exclusive Gorilla Habituation Experience where you are not just an observer but an active participant in the Habituation Process.

We have been promoting the  Gorilla Habituation Experience since it was in a pilot program  We have arranged for the permits, and subsequent exclusive encounter for hundreds of our Clients.  The Gorilla Habituation Experience along with its permits remain one of our most frequently asked for Safari activities.  The Habituation permits have become the most sought-after Gorilla Permits with us.

In our Experience, the number one mi stake made that results in no Gorilla Habituation Experience Permit is that the client tries to fit in the Gorilla Habituation Experience into his or her African Itinerary limiting Dates.  The number two mistake is that potential Trekkers take too long to decide and by the time that they do, the permits have been sold to other lucky Trekkers.

The Gorilla Habituation Permit requires planning, timely and decisive action on your part, and a Tour Operator such as Kabiza Wilderness Safaris who knows the ins and outs of the Gorilla Habituation Permit system since they are handled differently from normal Gorilla Trekking Permits.

This is not a Sales-Pitch but reality.  You are not dealing with a Nature Walk in the Savannah, a game drive on the Serengeti Plains, a walk in the Old Town of Zanzibar where you can decide when you are there, you are dealing with one of the rarest objects in African Tourism “the Gorilla Habituation Permit.”

Whether we sell a Safari with the Gorilla Habituation Experience or Gorilla Trekking does not matter to us, what matters is your experience.  Compare the Two.

Avoid Missing out on Gorilla Habituation Permits in Uganda:

The Number one Gorilla Permit Mistake made by African Travelers is that Gorilla Trekking is an afterthought, an add-on.

Such planning often results in no Gorilla Trekking or Gorilla Habituation Experience Permits.

The way to avoid hearing that Permits are sold out is simple.  For the African it means reverse planning, not beginning with the Serengeti or Masai Mara that can be done anytime, but beginning with the Gorilla Trekking portion of your time in Africa.

Avoid hearing the permits are sold out on the dates you gave us.  Along with this suggestion, please act in a timely manner since permit availability changes from Day to Day.

How far in advance do i have to book to make sure that I get  permits?

It is our suggestion to book your Gorilla Habituation Experience Safari 6 months before the date that you want to trek.  We suggest 9 months earlier during the peak seasons of June – July – August – December – January – February,

There are only two Gorilla Families for which the Habituation Permits can be secured for. 4 permits per group for a total of 8 participants.
