Kidepo Valley National Park is a fabulous wildlife park in Northeastern Uganda – when on a game drive you have the feeling that you are all alone here and alone you are in the most remote park in Uganda and for that matter East Africa.
Kidepo Valley Park is a rugged, beautiful park that is like Africa that you imagined it to be, but only better. A park not to be missed. It is on many people’s bucket list and yet it receives less than 10 visitors per day. Africa without the crowds.
CNN named it the Number 3 Wildlife Park in all of Africa – to us it is Africa as it was 50 years ago. The Wanderlust Movement’s – survey among Travel Bloggers came up with Kidepo Valley Park and the Karamoja Region as the top African Travel Destination for 2017.

You can easily spend a week here or longer Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda is simply a tapestry of natural wonders and one of its advantages is that it is conveniently close to Bwindi Impenetrable Park, Kibale Forest and the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon.
A park that is fit for a queen, and yes Queen Elizabeth has visited here. The park has something for everyone, there are Primates such as the Chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge, the explosion crater lakes, Kazinga Channel and much more. It is a park not to be missed.
Lake Mburo closest Wildlife Park to Kampala Lake Mburo National Park – Savannah grasslands, Rolling Hills, Lakes, and Swamps There are many visitors to Uganda that would love to have a taste of the African Wild but only have a day or two during their time in Uganda.
Lake Mburo Park is Uganda’s smallest Savannah Park one of the best places to find zebras and the large Eland Antelopes.
Lake Mburo Park is also home to Rothschild Giraffes, there are a few lions here but rarely see, you can hear them roar, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, 3 kinds of otters and more.
The one thing that sets the parks apart from others is to go on a Horseback Riding, Bike Riding, or Hiking Safari within the park
It is located halfway between Entebbe – Kampala and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you trek Gorillas.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is not only home to Mountain Gorillas but a UNESCO World heritage, a prime birder site and anyone that would enjoy a scenic hike from one end of the Forest to the other.
The other park where Gorilla Trekking is a possibility is Mgahinga Gorilla Park.

There are many activities that you do here such as Volcano Climbing, Gorilla Tracking, interactive cultural walks with the Batwa People-the original People of the forest, Caving, Birding, nature walk and hikes, and visit the Golden Monkey and either track them or spend 4 hours with them in the Golden Monkey Habituation experience where you are with researchers and guides.

The Best Montane Alpine Park in Uganda:
The Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon is off of the beaten path for many since most believe that the only activities there are, are for mountaineers.
There are many activities that one can partake in that involve the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon.
You can have a village stay, hike, bird, nature walks all without the crowds, it has been some of our client’s favorite place in Uganda.
You can also conquer some of the snow-covered peaks, in 20 years the glaciers will be probably gone, so the time is now to climb them before it is too late.
The Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon are relatively close to Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibale Forest, and Semliki Park.
The Park can be explored in the Foothills or you can climb the Peaks.
The Best Volcano Parks in Uganda:
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, is one of the most scenic parks in Uganda, small but there are also many and varied activities for you to partake in while on Safari in Uganda. It is the best Golden Monkey Trekking Park in Uganda.
There are three volcanoes for you to climb in one day Hike – Climbs. Mount Sabinyo, Mount Muhabura or Muhavura, and Mount Gahinga, a must for the outdoor enthusiast.
Not only is the park great for Volcano Hikes, but other hiking trails are found here.
Mgahinga Gorilla Park – small but, lots of things to do and see.
Climb the Mufumbiro Mountains, the Mountains that Cook, the Virunga Volcanoes.
Mount Elgon and Sipi Falls – part of the Eastern Wonders of Uganda – Adventure, Nature Walks, Hikes, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Trout Fishing, Volcano Climbing and much more to do and see here.
This is a fantastic area with a lot of things to be discovered, great hikes, great nature walks, visit the only Jewish Community in Uganda, explore ancient rock paintings, or do like many do here, they simply relax and chill out for a few days.
Mount Elgon is a 4-day climb but day trips up the mountain can be taken instead.
The Mount Elgon – Sipi Falls Region is on the border with Kenya, an area off-of-the-beaten-Tourist Track.
It is best combined with a visit to Jinja or a trip to or from Kidepo Valley Park through the Karamoja Region of Uganda.

Lake Bunyonyi has 29 islands for you to explore and to enjoy while you discover them by a dugout canoe or motorboat voyage.
Bunyonyi means place of little birds and here there are birds of all sizes that you can spot as you take a dugout canoe ride around the Lake. You can also take a motorboat.
