The Rushaga is the only area in Bwindi for the Gorilla Habituation Experience
There are two groups being habituated in the Rushaga area and you can join the researchers, trackers, and others in spending four hours with a gorilla family, add the hike to the group and back out again and you have a full-day activity that will stay with you for a long time to come.
Permits for the Gorilla Habituation Experience are 1,500 usd and the number of permits is limited to 4 permits for a group of gorillas being habituated in the Rushaga area of the park.
It takes a bit more planning in regards to when to do the activity because of limited permits available.

The flight is 1 1/2 hours long to the town of Kisoro from Entebbe and then it is a short drive to the Rushaga or Nkuringo area to your lodge that you have chosen for your Gorilla activity in the area.
The flight back to Entebbe is just as easy for connection of a flight back to your home-country or continue your safari with us to other places within Uganda.
