Bwindi Impenetrable Forest -Home to the Gentle Giants of the Forest – the Mountain Gorillas. This ancient rainforest where thousands come each year for an incredible up-close encounter with the Mountain Gorillas. A place where you can still meet the first People of the Forest, the Batwa People who lived for thousands of years in this corner of Uganda. They are pygmies who were hunter-gatherers only taking from the forest what was needed, living in harmony with nature leaving a low ecological Footprints. Today they still guide you through the Forest showing you how they lived in the days of old.

Lake Bunyonyi has often been called a Scene from Lord of the Ring and it is no wonder that it became a scene, a scenic Star for the movie |Black Panther. It was the Greek cartographer Ptolemaeusput the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon on the Map of Africa at a time not much was known about the interior of Africa. He did so on the basis of the travel accounts of the Greek Merchant Diogenes, recorded by Marinus of Tyre. Diogenes traveled into the interior of Africa from the Tanzanian coast when he encountered the Rwenzori Mountains along with two great lakes, one of them being Lake Victoria.
The Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon are no longer speculation, myth or legends, they are real and the tallest Mountain Range in Africa. Its snowcapped Mountains are taller than the Alps, its foothills are places to be explored and discovered by those who cannot ascent its peaks.
