You hike up into a buffer zone to Bwindi Forest and learn how the Batwa lived, hunted, gathered.  The experience restores the cultural dignity of a people and keeps the tradition of the Batwa alive.

The Indigenous Batwa People have much to share with us about living in harmony with nature.  About only taking from the forest what is needed to live.

The Batwa never destroyed the forest.  They did cut down the forest. They coexisted with it as hunters and gatherers. The Forest supplied them with all that they needed.
