Gorilla Trekking Safaris in Mgahinga Gorilla Park -Our Take:
There may be only one Gorilla Family to Trek here. It is not the number of Families, it is about the Experience, and when it comes to that, Gorilla Trekking is on par or better than any other gorilla trekking experience. Those who trek here and have trekked elsewhere prefer the Gorilla Trekking Experience in Mgahinga Gorilla Park.
We like the fact that the Nykagezi Family has three Silverbacks, the other activities that can be done here plus Mount Gahinga Lodge, one of Uganda’s Best lodges.
Trekking Gorillas means a bit more planning since there are only eight permits per day here. Still, you will find that well worth the Experience that you will have on your Encounter with the Gentle Giant of the Forest in Mgahinga Gorilla Park.
Enjoy your time in Mgahinga Park and your time with the Nyakagezi Group, and the setting of Mgahinga Gorilla Park in the shadows of the volcanoes are the perfect place for your Trek and other activities in the there…enjoy the Pearl of Africa – Uganda
