Ugandan Culture is rich and diverse – not to be missed

Cultural Enrichment as you visit the Pearl of Africa – Uganda

Uganda has many things to offer to visitors- there are the Primates – Mountain Gorillas – Chimpanzees, Golden Monkeys, plus many other primates that you come across in the varUgandan Cultureious parks of Uganda.  There is the abundance of wildlife, Elephants, Giraffe, Zebras, various Antelopes, those lovable Warthogs, Hyenas, Leopards, Monitor lizards, Lions, Buffaloes, and one cannot forget over 1040 plus recorded species of birds.

Uganda is filled with scenic wonders from the Rwenzori Mountains to Lake Victoria, the mystical lakes of Bunyonyi and Mutanda, the ever changing Lake Kayonga, the Volcanoes, the endless Savannahs, all without the traffic jams of Kenya, Botswana or South Africa.

There is however much more – there is something beyond wildlife and primates, there are the people of Uganda, 61 tribes and tongues all over the country-unfortunately 19 of them are decline according to recent findings – all Ugandans with a rich heritage and culture that goes back many years, handed down not in the ways of the west, but in stories and accounts, carefully past on from generation to generation while sitting under the mango tree of a village, around a fire in the square.  This is the real Africa – the people who have lived and died here, who struggle each day for their children, they are the real treasure, the real peal of Africa.

You want to touch heart of Uganda, get in touch with its people…you will never be the same.  You will take back to your country of origin, riches that you would never find unless you are in touch with the people of Uganda, listen to their tales of old and new, their ways and ideas, though different than yours, lead down a similar path toward finding fulfillment in life.

Enjoy Uganda, its people, its ways, its traditions…do not leave without meeting the real pearl of Africa….its people…from Kampala…jon
