Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is one of the most beautiful, ancient rainforests in all of Africa – at the southern end of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is Nkuringo –Nkuri
ngo is not only the name of a Gorilla Family Group – it is also a location – a village – a area in the South Bwindi Rainforest.
The Buhoma area is the most visited area of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – but Nkuringo is is the most scenic, the most stunning location, almost magical in the opinion of many visitors to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The rugged surrounding all doused in a lovely green, the incredible Volcanoes of the Virunga Volcano Chain stretching from Uganda into the Democratic Republic of Congo provide some of the most beautiful views in all of Africa.
