Most Visitors do not know about or ever see Itanda Falls except Rafting down the Nil, at Itanda they stop and walk around the falls since they are too dangerous.

The Hidden Itanda Falls are Sights and Sounds along the historic River Nile not be missed by visitors to Jinja.

Bujagali Falls, long a tourist Destination is no more – just a few ripples – but Itanda awaits you.

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is not only home to Rhinos but much other wildlife and an excellent birding location.

You can take nature walks, birding walks, and a boat paddled through the Lugogo swamp, one of the best locations in Uganda to spot the elusive shoebill stork.

Budongo Forest Chimpanzees – Birding – Nature Walks:Budongo-Forest-Murchison

Budongo Forest – Just 3 hours plus from Kampala Budongo Forest- is best combined with Murchison Falls Park Wildlife and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Rhino Tracking Murchison Falls National Park has a lot to offer, it is the largest wildlife reserve and park in Uganda and there  is a lot more to see here besides tracking chimpanzees.

Budongo Forest is a prime birding area in Uganda including the Royal Mile of the forest.  Even in the more norther area, birding is just great in the largest Mahogany Forest in East Africa.

Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is one of the Scenic Wonders found in Uganda Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is the perfect scenic stop between Murchison Falls Park and Kibale Forest Park Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve is simply off of the map for most Safari Tour operators, they simply pass it by and tourists to Uganda miss the beauty of the Western Rift Escarpment and the quiet serenity of the area.

Here you can even go on a horseback riding Safari from Lake Albert Lodge,  You can also go on Nature walks,have a bush dinner here, visit a fishing village on the lake.

Bigodi Wetlands Santuary is a destination in itself, it being one of the only true jungle swamps in Uganda, the primates found here and of course the birds, it is always on birders must see list.

Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary is filled with natural wonders and surprises and not to be missed.

The Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves Some call them Amabere Caves – it is the same Place Just 8 kilometers from Fort Portal discover the ancient and legendary Amabeere Caves The Amabeere Caves and the three surrounding Explosion Crater Lakes make it a most interesting half day adventure and can be easily taken while staying in the Kibale Forest area.

The Amabeere Caves are a cultural and natural wonder.  It is a place of legends and myths, Ugandans seem to enjoy them the most.  Those legends were part of the Toro Kingdom and the kingdom still exists today with one of the youngest Kings in the world.

Kalinzu Forest – Chimpanzee Tracking – Birding – Nature Walks:Kalinzu-Forest-Chimpanzees

An African Forest waiting to be explored – Kalinzu Forest Kalinzu Forest is accessible from the Mweya area of Queen Elizabeth Park – 2 hour drive Kalinzu Forest in Western Uganda is one of those special places that you have always wanted to explore.

If you are visiting Queen Elizabeth Park – Kalinzu Forest can easily be reached for your chimpanzee tracking and here children 12 years old can track Chimpanzees.

Besides chimpanzee tracking there are the hikes and birding. There is only a very basic camp here to stay overnight, it is best one stays in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Lake Bunyonyi has 29 islands for you to explore and to enjoy while you discover them by a dugout canoe or motorboat voyage.

Bunyonyi means place of little birds and here there are birds of all sizes that you can spot as you take a dugout canoe ride around the Lake.  You can also take a motorboat.
