Placed in a stunning
location. Lake Nyinambuga before you, volcanic
crater lakes around
you. In the distance the snow-capped
Rwenzori Mountains.
Ndali lodge is tastefully decorated. Nice
cottages, self-contained, hot and cold water.
Take a boat ride on the lake, take a nature walk
around the area. Enjoy the food, tastefully
prepared, simply a lovely place to stay at when
you are visiting Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking
and activities such as birding.
You will find
it a most wonderful place to stay, quality that
is here to stay for a long time to come.
Primate
Lodge (Up-Market & Moderate $$ to $$$: Yes, you read right,
the Luxury Tents are
up-market in price and the cabins are moderate.
Quite nice to meet both needs. Lovely location.
There is even a tree-house that is rented out at
budget since there are no bath facilities on top,
but it oversees an elephant wallow and seeing the
elephants up close would be quite something.
Restaurant
serves Ugandan and International dishes.
Chimps'
Nest Lodge (Moderate) $$: Just a few minutes
from Kibale Forest in the midst
of
the African Jungle, this Lodge is simply nice and
very reasonable, eco-friendly, comfortable, and
enjoyed by many. Forest walks, birding right
there at Chimp's Nest, one of the rooms is a
tree house, up high, a very different kind of lodging
for the night. Though this Lodge is in the
moderate - our up-market customers have loved it
- the Tree houses make it a unique place to stay
in the midst of the jungle
Food for the
restaurant is locally purchased from farmers, beekeepers
and yet the menu can be both Ugandan and International.

Bigodi Swamp and the camp it self is a bit of paradise
for birders in itself. African Safari type Tents
provide the lodging

tents are on raised wooden platform, private verandas.
A sumptuous
breakfast, Two course Lunch and Four course dinner
when you walk back to your tent, you certainly know
