  • Batwa Trail: The Batwa Forest Trail - an all day walk in the shadows of the volcanoes of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park - seeing the forest through the eyes of its first people - the Batwa Pygmies - an amazing time.

  • Boomu Women's Group:  Take a village walk with the Boomu Women's Group - see what village life is like -food preparations, making of baskets, blacksmith, hear the stories and get a feel of village life in Uganda -Location: on the way to Murchison Falls National Park near Budongo Forest.

  • Buhoma Village Walk:  A three hour walk through the local community - meeting people and observing their traditional ways. Meet a traditional healer - local beer brewing with bananas and gin distiller, cooking, washing at the river, a local school and the Batwa Pygmy people.  Location:  Buhoma at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  • Buhoma Mountain Biking:  Ride 4 a Woman - a women's support group provides this wonderful service as another way to discover the Buhoma community and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  2 to 3 hour guided bike rides.  The Village Ride is a cultural experience on a Mountain Bike.

  • Ndere Troupe:  When you have seen the Ndere Troupe, Dance, Sing, play their music - you have seen Africa alive.

  • Ruboni Village Walk:  Ruboni located in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains- home of the Bakonzo People.  Easily accessed from Kibale Forest or Queen Elizabeth Park.
