You are landing at Entebbe Airport - you look down and see the expanse of Lake Victoria, you can see some of its islands , the airstrip in sight, the plane lands, the doors open - Welcome to Uganda - The Pearl of Africa.

You step down the stairs and are touched by the warmth of the African Sun or greeted by the African night.  You might have left snowy New York, rainy Seattle, foggy London, or the drab skies of Antwerp, but now you are in Uganda, home of some the best year around Holiday weather in the world.

The arrival lounge is before you and the Visa Process is under way, your passport is stamped by a friendly Ugandan official, you get your suitcases and out of the green door you to be greeted by Kabiza Wilderness Safaris Staff welcoming as your Safari begins.

If you arrive on a Morning flight-it is straight to your first Destination  such as Lake Mburo Park. If it is nighttime we take you to a local Hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala - depending on your choice.  You can even choose to take a short boat ride and stay at the fabulous Bulago Island, or in one of the hotels along Lake Victoria.

As you drive along, the color of green is everywhere.  People moving, at night, the sound of African Music will reach your ears as you move toward your hotel.  The sense of excitement increases, you have arrived at your destination, the Pearl of Africa, for your ultimate safari adventure.

The sights - sounds - smells - views - are awesome, - overwhelmingly wonderful.  Welcome to Uganda - the real heart of Africa-its Pearl.

The drive through the countryside will amaze you, the picturesque villages, the banana fields, the thick forest, the hills, the lakes, the rivers.

To really maximize your Safari experience in Uganda - There are some must see places that will forever remain with you such as the endangered Mountain Gorillas at the mysterious Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest.  Where you will be in an ancient rainforest in close range of the incredible Gorillas and yes there is a mist in the mornings and you will get a sense of "Gorillas in the Mist."

There is Mgahinga Gorilla Park and you can stay Mutanda - one of the most fabulous places in Uganda - a place off of the Ugandan tourist track.  A peaceful - picturesque lake dotted with islands, Volcanoes around it - the nearby Mgahinga Gorilla Park awaits you to climb its peaks, look into Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo.  The Bamboo Forest with its golden monkey are fantastic, the forest gorillas, the birds exotic.  Awesome - This is the Pearl of Africa - Uganda.

Another must destination is Queen Elizabeth Park with its tree climbing lions, a place where there is an abundance of lions, herds of elephants, over 600 species of birds and almost a hundred mammals and the highest concentration of hippos in all of Africa.

One cannot forget a visit to the Kibale Forest Jungle - with its 13 primates, forest elephants, birds, butterflies, nocturnal night walks, pleasant lodging and the best chimpanzee tracking in Africa.  The jungle like atmosphere of Kibale Forest is worth the visit.  The only jungle in East Africa - there is nothing like it.

Take a mini-hike in the snowcapped Rwenzori Mountains and experience the Afro-Montane Vegetation of the highest mountain range in Africa.

If Ernest Hemingway thought that Murchison Falls Park was worth a visit, so should you.  One of the most fabulous parks in all of Uganda.  Stay in choice lodging near the game tracks, cruise the ancient River Nile without going to Egypt and see the most powerful waterfalls in the world...Murchison Falls.  The cruise on the Nile alone is worth the visit to the Park - the wildlife along the shore is awesome.

Add another chimpanzee tracking experience at Budongo Mahogany Forest, see the Rhinos in the wild at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - you are experiencing the best of Uganda...taking a safari in Uganda.

There is Jinja with the source of the Nile - the best White Water rafting experience in all of Africa, horseback riding along the Nile. Venture to Mount Elgon Park with its Sipi Waterfalls and Afro Montane vegetation high up in Africa - straddling Uganda and Kenya.

Then there is wild wild west of Uganda - located in the North East - Kidepo Valley Park - one of the least visited parks in Uganda and yet one of the most awesome to experience.  The rugged beauty in the Karamajong region will long remain with you.  Easiest to fly to.

Kampala - experience its vibrancy of life, visit its cultural heritage like Kasubi Tombs, meet some of the children in a school.  Experience nightlife of Kampala...eat in its diverse range of restaurants.  Visit Entebbe-the colonial capital of Uganda, the Botanical Gardens, Chimpanzee Island.  This is Uganda.
