Black History and Classical Music:   Here is a site most classical music lovers know little about: Classical composers and performers of African descent, including Fela Sowande and Samuel Ekpe Akpabot of Nigeria, and Mzilikazi Khumalo and Michael Mosoeu Moerane of South Africa.  You will enjoy taking a look and discovering some wonderful new sounds.

Angelique Kidjo:  Her earthy voice brings Africa to you.  This tiny woman is filled with more energy than three people.  Infectious sound that gets to your soul.  I simply enjoy her.

Lucky Dube:  This is my favorite Reggae Artist.  I love his message and the mellow sound.  Very pleasant to listen to.  Lucky Dube is from South Africa, but makes regular World Tours. 

Forward Kwenda:  If you like Mbira music, he is one of the masters of that ancient Shona instrument.  He is also a wonderful and enjoyable man that is very sensitive to people, life around him.  I have had the pleasure of hosting him at my Bed and Breakfast.
